A Privilege

So many times, I get compliments for the photos of families, kids, brides, babies, pets, events, etc. that I take. 
I wish there was a way to let people know how privileged that I feel when they entrust me with capturing the events, the personalities, the special times of their lives. They let me into a very vulnerable place in their lives for the time that we are together. 


I see many things on the other side of the lens. Body language, personality conflicts, nervousness... The camera bug and the shy one. Finding the balance is the greatest part of a photo shoot. The lighting, the pose.. none of that matters if you do not get to know your subjects and balance their personalities for the shots. 


I am blessed.
